Pay the appropriate customs duty as well as all taxes and fees associated with the shipment.
Have modifications applied and tested if necessary.
Apply for identification plate registration and approval with the Bangladeshi government.
The customs then calculates the value of your VAT and necessary duties that you will pay after which your agent pays.

Once your forwarder has paid the VAT and duties, the customs issues a clearance order for your goods.

You need to note that if the customs doesn’t clear your cargo within a given stipulated time under the law, they will dispose of your cargo.

This mainly takes place through auction.

In case you are importing plants, plant products or animals, you need to observe the quarantine conditions.
